Customer identity and access management (CIAM) enables organizations to securely capture and manage customer identity and profile data and control customer access to applications and services. The best CIAM solutions ensure all customers have seamless and secure experiences at scale that respect their privacy and instill trust, no matter which channels (web, mobile, etc.) they use to engage with a brand. Since businesses invest heavily in pixel-perfect branding and experiences in their products and services, it’s also critical that CIAM solutions can adhere to those customized experiences.
About the Role
We’re looking for a talented IAM Engineer with strong Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) skills to help deliver secure, user-friendly identity solutions for our clients in the financial and banking industry. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement and optimize CIAM solutions, ensuring robust security and exceptional user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage CIAM systems using platforms like Ping, Okta, ForgeRock, or other.
Develop seamless integrations with client applications, applying security best practices like MFA, SSO, and risk-based access.
Deliver secure, intuitive login and profile management features based on industry standards and experience
Ensure CIAM solutions meet industry regulations, including GDPR and CCPA, and support data privacy management.
Troubleshoot CIAM issues, provide performance tuning and maintain documentation for smooth operations.
Qualifications
Experience: 4+ years in software development, with 2+ in CIAM/IAM, preferably in the financial or regulated industry.
Technical Skills: Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, REST APIs, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and programming (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
Strong understanding of security protocols, encryption, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills for effective team collaboration.
Preferred
Experience with DevOps processes, and familiarity with customer consent management.
