Requirements
We are looking for a Senior Digital Identity Consultant with responsibilities in technical presales and solution design. This role plays a crucial role in both securing new business and ensuring that proposed solutions meet client needs effectively.
1. Client Engagement and Requirement Gathering
Participate in initial client discussions to understand their digital identity needs, challenges, and business goals.
Conduct discovery sessions to gather detailed technical and business requirements related to identity management, authentication, and access control.
Identify opportunities to address additional client needs that could be fulfilled by your team’s capabilities.
2. Technical Presales Support
Assist the sales team by providing technical expertise during the presales process.
Prepare and deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proof of concept (PoC) scenarios tailored to client needs.
Respond to RFPs (Request for Proposals) and RFIs (Request for Information) by crafting detailed and accurate technical responses.
3. Solution Design and Architecture
Design comprehensive digital identity solutions that align with client requirements, including Identity and Access Management (IAM), and other identity-related services.
Develop solution architectures and technical designs, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance with industry standards.
Collaborate with other technical teams (e.g., cloud, security, development) to integrate identity solutions into the broader IT environment.
4. Advisory, Consultancy and Delivery
Guide clients in selecting the most appropriate identity solutions based on their current and future needs, technological landscape, and regulatory environment.
Provide strategic advice on best practices in digital identity management, including user experience, security, compliance, and governance.
Offer insights on emerging trends and technologies in the digital identity space, helping clients stay ahead of the curve.
Oversee delivery from a technical point of view, with implementation responsibilities at times
This role demands a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and client-facing communication skills to ensure that proposed digital identity solutions not only meet technical requirements but also align with broader business objectives.
These requirements ensure that the consultant is not only technically proficient but also capable of delivering value to clients through effective communication, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of the digital identity landscape.
What you’ll need to perform
1. Strong Technical Expertise in Digital Identity Solutions
In-depth Knowledge: Extensive understanding of digital identity management, including technologies like Identity and Access Management (IAM), Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and related security protocols (e.g., OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect).
Experience with Tools and Platforms: Hands-on experience with any of the leading identity management platforms (e.g., Okta, Azure AD, Ping Identity, ForgeRock) and familiarity with cloud environments like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
2. Experience in Technical Presales and Solution Design
Presales Skills: Proven ability to support sales teams in a technical capacity, including delivering presentations, conducting product demonstrations, and crafting compelling technical proposals.
Solution Architecture: Experience in designing and architecting digital identity solutions that meet client needs, ensuring alignment with business objectives, security requirements, and compliance standards.
3. Industry Knowledge and Continuous Learning
Regulatory and Compliance Awareness: Up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and standards relevant to digital identity (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, FIDO), and the ability to design solutions that ensure compliance.
Continuous Improvement: Commitment to staying current with emerging trends and technologies in the digital identity space, ensuring that solutions are innovative and competitive.
