Manual QA Tester

We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented future colleague to join our team as a Manual QA Tester. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through rigorous manual testing processes. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to identify and report bugs, ensure user satisfaction, and maintain product excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute detailed manual test cases to verify software functionality, usability, and reliability.

• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools

• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely feedback.

• Perform regression, functional, integration, and user acceptance testing.

• Work closely with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases.

• Validate fixes and enhancements to ensure issues are resolved.

• Ensure software meets business requirements and adheres to company standards.

• Provide regular updates on testing progress and defect status to stakeholders.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine testing processes and improve software quality.

Required Qualifications

• 2-3 of experience in manual testing.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field;

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency with bug-tracking tools (Jira)

• Familiarity with test management tools (such as Postman, Charles Proxy,  TestRail, Zephyr, XRay).

• Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.

• Knowledge of SQL and the ability to query databases is a plus.

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

• High attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.

• Exposure to API testing, performance testing, or security testing.

• Familiarity with automation tools like Selenium or Postman (not mandatory).

• ISTQB certification or similar QA certifications.
