“ Our team of Online and Retail Applications has the responsibility for developing and maintaining a significant number of business – critical systems along with new programs and interesting opportunities in Digital Transformation universe. These types of projects represent a real challenge in the enterprise business environment that we operate. At the moment we focus on continuing projects within the same area along with transforming and optimizing interactions among team members, as well as internal processes (from onboarding to performance in actual deliveries). Our upgrade came as a response to the need of constant ramp up in recent years (years the team has greatly increased) and as a response to the need of remaining competitive and flexible on the market. If I were to think of a day’s work for a team member, I think I cannot say that things are really simple, as there are many challenges that in the end bring many opportunities too, for a growing team. The project always comes with new requests that need to be made or optimized so that monotony or routine never settles in. “ In 2015 I was looking for new opportunities for professional development and for an escape from database administration activities in which I was involved since 2007. My experience with other Romanian software companies made me look ISS’s invitation for a first interview with skepticism, but I am glad that I accepted that invitation and that I got to work in a team with very capable people from whom I have a lot to learn and who became my friends in a very short time. Within one year I had the opportunity to work in various areas such as application development, automated scripting, automated deployment and I managed to develop professional skills more than in the first eight years of my career.
